Siri Technology Solutions, being a progressive technology company are looking for a Software Engineer to join their talented team of Data and software Engineers.

The Software Engineer will have the opportunity to help drive the architecture and development of data processing.A Lead Developer is required to provide guidance and oversight to the development team working across a number of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional expertise to multi-sourced developers across the product development.
• Oversee development standards based on best practice.
• Identify and explore opportunities for business and service improvement and drive prioritisation and implementation.
• Work with the Head of Architecture to ensure alignment to the roadmap.
• Define a standard approach to and automation.
• Lead the design and specification of systems according to business needs and architectural standards.
• Ensure all in-house developed services interoperate according to API and Data Standards.
• Develop the integration platform to support integration with other products and cloud providers.

• Key Skills & Experiences:
• Experience of leading technical development teams working in an agile environment.
• Able to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Experience of using version control systems eg Subversion or Git.
• Experience of working with complex data schemas and developing API’s to integrated heterogeneous services, including SaaS products and microservices.
• Working of knowledge of developing, testing and integration using code repository and continuous integration tools.
Desirable:
• Experience of following secure software development principles and practices.
• Experience in Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript and JSON.
o Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShel, Jenkins

Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

WORK LOCATION: BRENTWOOD, ESSEX

Siri Technology Solutions is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their growing team in their Brentwood office. You will be part of driving the improvement of IT landscape across its “Data Mesh Framework ” product framework and play a key role in enabling fast and agile IT changes.
The successful candidate will maintain high work standards to ensure test automation meets business requirements and can be supported efficiently.
They will also gather and prioritise information from a wide variety of business areas to create automation solutions that reduce technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building test scenarios
• Developing and maintaining automated tests
• Recording test results and working with team member as solutions are developed
• Reporting and tracking defects, escalating where necessary
• Test verification including environment management, function and regression testing

Technical Skills and Personal Qualities

• Experience of working in the Data and Cloud based Projects
• Exposure to GCP and Microsoft Azure Clouds would be more beneficial
• Strong experience in test automation across test driven development and testing frameworks
• One of more coding languages, eg. JavaScript or Java, Python
• Experience of working in an agile environment
• Experience with agile tools – Jira or Confluence
• Testing frameworks and tools eg. Selenium, Cucumber and REST
• Knowledge of continuous integration, ideally Jenkins, CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, Maven, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, Azure and AWS.
